Trade Marketing, Promotions and Events Coordinator for Baltimore Dominicana (BALDOM) since 2000. Baldom is a big Manufacturer and Distributor of mass consumer products in the Food Industry, leader in sales and market share in most of the products that manufactures.

Reporting to the Commercial Direction; negotiating, developing promotional and animation activities with the Retail Channels to maintain the growth of sales, market share and position of the Company and it’s Brands.

Mayor responsibilities:
  • Work with the Sales Force in all the channel levels to achieve sales goals and projections providing cost effective promotional actions.
  • Manage a promotions force to push sales trough the retail and maintain the presence of the company and its brands in the shopper and consumer’s top of mind. This team includes (today) five (5) Supermarket Supervisors, twelve (12) Merchandisers and forty one (41) female Promoters, one (1) Events Supervisor and Two (2) Events Promoters.
  • Assist the Commercial Director in the development of promotional goods and materials.
Accomplishments:
  • Have been a key part of the development of better and more profitable relation with big supermarket chains making great connection with them and providing a more responsive link to the company.
  • Managed to successfully raise the standards and effectiveness of the promotions team aligning them to the company’s goals and marketing objectives.
  • Have been part of a team that has been able to keep up raising sales and market share in a much competed market against competitors that are often times more powerful in terms of marketing budget.
  • Have been part of a team that has been able to introduce new product lines in the market gaining sales and share.
